The Blood & The Rose premier spiritual event at the beautiful Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. was a tremendous success!

With Raymond Arroyo (Host of EWTN's "The World Over Live") serving as Emcee, the audience of over five hundred were treated to a series of inspiring presentations prior to the film’s screening; reflections that touched on such topics as Mary’s unique role in the lives all people, by Fr. Leo Patalinghug (Host of EWTN's "Savoring Our Faith"), and a powerful call to serve the Church and the world as “Messenger Eagles” like St. Juan Diego, by the film's Director, Tim Watkins.

Monsignor John Ensler, Executive Director of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, shared a thought provoking reflection on the importance of charity in our modern world, and Bishop Francisco Gonzalez, Auxiliary Bishop of Washington, gave concluding remarks following the film’s screening, sending those in attendance forth to build the Kingdom of God with renewed vigor and a deepened sense of faith.
