Tim Watkins Director

The Blood &The Rose has been a true labor of love for Tim, due to his devotion to the message and the faith. He was enlisted to direct the film following his work on the four-time award-winning documentary In the Face of Evil: Reagan’s War in Word and Deed, which he acted as producer and co-director.

In 1995 Tim founded Leo McWatkins Films, a production company that focuses on long-form programming and documentary filmmaking.  Among his many roles, Tim is also an executive-producer and director.  His other credits include: Distant Signals, and the award-winning short film PUSH.
